Understanding the world, communication and language, physical-self care skills
This month we have had visits from our emergency services so the children could experience inside the vehicles and some equipment used. We then explored this further through role play.
Through craft we made our own emergency vehicles.
The babies made letter to post in the post box at their post office.
Working in the preschool room we’ve looked at different cultures and continued practicing our ICT skills.
We have borrowed road safety play equipment to practise safe ways crossing the road and taking it in turns to be the lollipop person. We pretended to be cars and used the traffic light crossing, stopping to let our friends cross the road when the light was red and continuing when the light was green.
To celebrate the polish flower festival, Wianki, we decorated flower wreaths.
