A Typical Day at Three Gables

With our free flow routine there is so much to see and do. Below is a guideline outlining this, including activities in our Baby & Toddler Room as well as our 2 – 5’s Room.

8am – 13.00pm | 13.30pm – 17.45pm
All areas are open to children. They can choose and join in with a wide variety of activities – from stories in the snug, construction with cars and trains to baking in the dining room or simply painting, puzzles or getting messy with exploratory activities.

9.30am – 11.00am | 14.00pm – 15.30pm
Spontaneous and pre-planned story and circle times will be taking place.

9.30 – 11.00 | 14.00 – 15.30
Pre- school and rising 3’s children will be in small groups using our Pre-school Classroom.

Most of the day (weather and season changes timings slightly)
The Garden is open to run and explore – enjoying ride on bikes; building sandcastles in our giant sand pit or watering the vegetable the vegetable garden.

9.45am
Our Rolling Snack Bar opens and children can come to make and enjoy their own snack(s).

12.00pm – 13.00pm
Lunchtime a time to socialise – focusing on good table manners, healthy food and drinks.

15.45pm
Our Tea Bar opens with freshly baked rolls (made by the children that morning) as well as a variety of filling’s (including vegetables and fruit) for your child to prepare and choose themselves.

17.45pm
Another great day ends and the cleaners arrive to get the nursery fresh and ready for a new day.
